Suncoast Water Gardens is a family owned business and was established in 1993 as a small nursery in Chevallum propagating Water lilies, Lotus and a variety of Aquatic plants. This was the only Wholesale Nursery selling Aquatic plants in Queensland which made this nursery very unique.
It soon out grew the available space at Chevallum and was moved to Peachester and within 12 months the business also outgrew the Peachester site and was forced to move to a larger property.
Suncoast Water Gardens is now located in the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland in Beerwah 80km north of Brisbane. The property is on 6 acres, which the nursery utilizes 3 acres. The rest is residential and in-ground stock. With the extra space, the nursery expanded into a range of tropical plants to supplement the aquatic side.
Suncoast Water Gardens become a member of the Nursery & Garden Industry Queensland in 1995.
Paul and Margaret have owned the Nursery since 2005 and with a lot of hard work and determination, they have been able to make Suncoast Water Gardens a well-established, reputable and successful Business providing the highest quality plants, service and advice.
Today Suncoast Water Gardens holds the largest range of Aquatic Plants and Water lilies in Australia.
Our plants reach Retail Nurseries as far as Cairns, out west to Emerald and as far down as Melbourne. Our main Customers are Independent Retail Nurseries, Bunnings, Landscapers, Botanical Gardens and local Councils.
Our long term staff are experienced and skilled at the care and maintenance of our stock. As a result you will receive quality plants that will enhance any environment. We make it our priority to take time to work with customers to help and educate them in the care and maintenance of their plants and ponds.
