ACORUS calamus Giant rush

An attractive plant with Iris-like foliage that has a citrus smell when crushed. Height can reach to 1.5mts. Grow in full sun to maintain good foliage colour. Moist soil to shallow water.

CANNA glauca Endeavour (Red)

Blue/green lance shaped foliage. Narrow leaves and red flowers are recurved, plumera-type, and appear throughout summer.

COLOCASIA antiquorum Imperial Taro 

Dark green leaves are overlaid with velvety black colouring between the veins. Moist soil to shallow water.  Height to 1.2 metres.

Large elephant ear-type leaves, roots edible when cooked. Moist soil to shallow water.

Large purple-black elephant ear type leaves and purple-black stems. Must be grown in full sun otherwise leaves turn green. Moist soil to shallow water. Height to 1.2 meters.

COLOCASIA amazonica indica metallica

Burgundy black stems with dark shiny green leaves edged in burgundy/black. Interveinal shading of burgundy black. Underside of leaf has ribbed veins.

Lighter green leaves with brilliant red stems. Moist soil to shallow water. Height to 1.5 meters. Full sun to part shade.

CRINUM pendiculatim Beach Lily or Swamp Crinum 

Large clumps of evergreen foliage.  Leaves are very thick and leathery.  Produces flowers through spring and summer.  Can reach up to 1 meter.  Best on fringe areas with moist soil.

Beautiful pink, silver and green leaves are a feature of this plant.

ORONTIUM aquaticum Golden Rush

Has velvety, lance-shaped leaves that are dark olive-green. Unusual white flower spadices with terminal spikes of small yellow flowers.

Cylindrical foliage, Spring brings out white vertical stripes. upright habit.

Exotic tall horizontally banded rush in green and white to 1.5mt.

This plant is a true water Arum growing to 3 mtrs.  Large ribbed Arum-like leaves and large hooded flower with yellow spathe. Makes a spectacular feature plant.

Tufty erect perennial with round green leaves, tall stems with bright yellow flowers. 1-1.5 meters tall.

A dwarf growing form of Zantedeschia aetheopica reaching a height of 40cm. Can be grown in water to the top of the pot or as a bog plant.

This hardy lily revels in waer and mud and flowers most of the year. The large glossy green leaves and the pure white flowers are both prized by floral artist.
